How to fail as a parent...or Abstinence Only lol

By now I'm sure everyone knows that the republican pick for vice president has a pregnant unmarried teenage daughter. (or you live under a rock and don't have internet) This was mentioned during work tonight, where there is a definite 'line in the sand' between republicans and democrats (its located at about 52 on the age line btw). One lady says to me (since I brought up the newest info in our daily 'discussion'), she says to me "when you have kids and they get pregnant before they are 18 come back and tell me that you failed as a parent." I replied that I could tell her that right now that I would have failed as a parent in some way if I had a pregnant teenage child.

Think about it, how may reasons are there that teenagers get knocked up?
-They date some crazy/stupid person who thinks its a good idea for some reason.
-They are the crazy/stupid person who thinks its a good idea.
-They are not taught about birth control.
    -'Accident'

Now where to start...(this is not all inclusive btw just a brief summary of the most common reasons.)

-Show your child how a healthy relationship is suppose to be and how to deal with crazy people and not fall in to their self loathing drama and its highly unlikely they will find themselves with(or as) the typical crazy girlfriend who needs to get pregnant to save/keep a relationship.
-Abstinence only education is not effective. Teenagers have sex. You did it, I did it, it happens. Teenagers have more hormones than just about anyone and dealing with that many psychological and physical changes leaves them open to acting irresponsibly some times, its what kids do. Teach them how to use a condom properly, and any other of a number of available contraceptive devices and you keep them far safer than depending on them to never give in to the desire that will seem overwhelming to a teenager.
-Accidents happen (mostly) due to improperly used contraceptives, or lack of any (called the hope and prayer method)

Like most republicans Palin relied on the abstinence only method. Oops...

She's done so well running her family, lets go ahead and give her a shot at running the country whaddaya say? sigh

    ARGH!

Sharing an internet connection with an X-box live account holder and avid (rabid? Halo player is worse than trying to figure out what to cap your torrents at so you can play WoW on the other PC.

I mean seriously, I can't update AVG durring a halo session, and (most importantly) SA slows to a crawl!

(and the internet ate this post 4 times!) >:XX

    I'm Back!

I misplaced my internets for a while, but I've found it again so I'll be back to running my mouth about random things just as soon as something pisses me off again =)

    Hi Internet!

    Sharp Dressed Anonymous vs Scientology

No I didn't forget there was another protest on April 12 - Operation Reconnect and yes it went awesomely.
But here's a compilation of a few different protest just to stay on track and because it's such a nice song, plus... we do dress up nicely.
